The 9th Mommy Review

The 9th Mommy Review

Today's Mommy Review is for a Stuk on U Romper.

Stuk on U rompers were created when Jeanine Altreche got tired (literally!) of buttoning and rebuttoning her sons romper in the middle of the night. She knew there had to be an easier way, so she invented it! Using soft to the touch Velcro instead of buttons, she created an easy to take on and off romper for your little one.

Calvin has a Stuk on U romper and let me tell you mommies, for those nights when you're so tired you barely know what your doing, these are a lifesaver. So easy to just velcro off and on and get it over with. :) I also like the factor that the whole romper is closed (unlike buttons where there are places for air to seep in), and that, unlike zippers, there's no chance of accidently pinching your little one's skin. Plus, they are just too darned cute! I mean, look at Calvin! Just makes you want to go "Awww" :)

Really cool idea, I've marked the page to maybe make an order for my babe-to-be. Thanks for showing this.
I like the stars the best.
As far as new fabrics, I'd like to see some more solid colors, preferably not pastels. I'm a sucker for the designer fabrics like Amy Butler and Alexander Henry (hope I'm naming those right), but don't know if they make anything appropriate for sleepwear.

Oh - also - are these fire retardant like the baby sleepwear I would buy in a big shop? I looked for that info on the site, might have missed it.

Oh my gosh, I left my email address of my super-long comment.

My favorite design is the Stars. This is a great idea, as I can never snap those darn snappies, and they do have a gap in between them. It also seems hard for me to find many zippered ones unless they are fleece, which is too hot for my little one.

I might as well try for a 2nd entry. Does the fact that I'm happily expecting #4, nervously anticipating having that newborn with 2-, 4-, & 5-year-olds already in the family, AND the fact that morning sickness has returned at 6.5 months give me an excuse? :-)
