The 22nd Mommy Giveaway

THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED
The 22nd Mommy Giveaway

I am so excited to tell you about today's Mommy Giveaway. Medela has generously offered to giveaway a Medela Swing Breastpump and Breastmilk Feeding & Storage Set!!! ($164.98)

(A close-up)

Here's some info on the two wonderful items:

All Medela bottles are BPA-free. Medela's material of choice is Polypropylene, a BPA-free plastic. Medela's Breastmilk Feeding & Storage Set includes three 150 milliliter bottles with three slow-flow conventional nipples, three collars, three travel caps and three screw-on lids. The bottles are easy to hold and feature colorful printed volume markers that clearly show the amount of pumped breastmilk in both ounces and milliliters. This Breastmilk Feeding & Storage Set is available at major retailers and independent baby stores with a suggested retail price of $14.99.

The Medela Swing™ is a compact, single-electric, personal-use breastpump designed with Medela’s breakthrough 2-Phase Expression® technology. The 2-Phase Expression pumping pattern mimics a baby’s natural nursing rhythm by pumping in two distinct modes, helping nursing mothers pump more milk in less time. Weighing only 2 pounds, and measuring 10 inches long and 4 inches in diameter, Swing is small enough to fit inside a purse or briefcase. The pump comes with essential pumping accessories, including a cloth carrying bag, lanyard for neck and/or shoulder use, single pumping accessory kit, collection container and lid, AC adapter and container stand. The Swing has a suggested retail price of $149.99.

I am always on the search for ways to make nursing a little easier. I love it! But it would be nice if I didn't have to worry about becoming engorged (this is why I would love to win the breast pump!) and being more comfortable... hence, my favorite item on the Medela site: the nursing bras. I think the Seamless Soft Cup bra looks like it would do the work without the discomfort.

I love their tender care lanolin! It was a miracle worker for me when I first had my baby. It is so much thinner than the other brands and wheen your nipples are sore you really don't want to be rubbing them any more than you have to!

Symphony Breastpump appears that this would be a great pump to have when on the move. Light weight and has a very soft happy color to the breast pump. What am I here for, so I can give the prize to an expecting friend so that they won't have to purchase more things as they relocate for her job (Military-army) Thanks Kevin Nishimura bluelitter89@gmail.com

I really like the Quick Clean Breastpump & Accessory kit. The wipes would be so convenient to use at work because I don't have direct access to soap and water to clean them. The steam bags are so cool and much easier and quicker than boiling! Anything to make life easier is great I think!

OMG! AMAZING! We are TTC our second now and could really use this pump once the baby gets here! With my first I had an awful time trying to BF. I had to use nipple sheild's and let me tell you.....the Medela sheilds were the ONLY ones I would buy! They were awesome! Comfy and easy to clean! I am a working mom and would have to pump at work. I hated it! My pump was not a very good pump and would leave me engourged a lot of the time. Being able to own a Medela pump would be a dream come true for me!

The Nursing Stool is great.

Kathleen @ Katydid & Kid said...

I actually own this pump and really love it. It's lightweight, easy to travel with, and you can use batteries in it. It's great if you aren't going back to work, as then you'd need a double pump (which I sometimes wish I had). But for pumping a bottle or two when your baby goes to bed, it works great. It is a little loud though. I'd love to win this for my friend, as it's on her baby registry. Thanks!

I love all Medela products, unfortunately all I was ever able to afford was a manual. It is Medela and works well to relieve engorgement, but not well enough to pump up some stores.:( I am a nursing mom, and we are trying to conceive another baby, this pump would be AWESOME. My husband is in the Army, so every little bit counts. Having a pump means he can partake in feeding when he is home from his missions or deployments. It would be awesome for him!

I love their Pump In Style Advance. I had so much trouble with producing enough milk for my boys and this was nice to have to improve production. It easy and quick to use and didn't hurt like other pumps I had used. This would be great to have for our next baby to go with my dual so I could have one for on the go at church or my parents. I struggled to have all the right tools and unfortunately stopped producing around 4 & 6mos. This would help me to get out and about and still work on production.
Thanks,

I love their nursing bras! Since my son was born, I've been sporting a DD-cup...not exactly a size most bras can comfortbaly contain. But the Medela bra I have is comfortable and attractive! I have a medela handpump, but it gets really tiring to use. I could really go for an automated version!

I like the Seamless Softcup nursing bra in black....one can never have enough nursing bras! Well, one could, but I like to do laundry as infrequently as possible! :)

Jennie said...

I just must part with the behemoth pump I currently have. I'm expecting #3 and last go around, my ancient pump-in-style just didn't work well.

As for my favorite item, I highly recommend the Tender Care Lanolin. It's much easier to apply than the typical lanolins because it's smoother (not as thick).

okay, i love the lanolin. love it. it has saved me many times, not only on my nursing, biten nipples, but on chapped lips and owies of any nature. it is one of those majic potions. i also love the nursing bras. i'm currently nursing my 3rd son. he is 18 months old, i've nursed my other 2 well beyond the 2 year mark. i tell ya, i feel like i've been doing it forever. but i do it because it's worth it.

I really liked the support belts, but I loved the washable nursing pads. Oh my gosh!!! I was going through disposables like crazy with my son.I didn't know there even were washable ones. That is so handy. I really feel that breastfeeding is best for babies, but I only had a dinky little hand pump when I had mine. Ugh! It wasn't very fun, but I sure got a good arm workout. Anyways, I would love the breast pump it looks so nice. Thanks, Laura
