The 23rd Mommy Review

The 23rd Mommy Review

Today's Mommy Review is for a Signature Bundleboo Baby wrap in Ivory Woodfern from Bundleboo!

Bundleboo™ was started by Rebekah Gonzalez back in July of 2006. When she was pregnant with her daughter she found out that she would be born with a cleft lip and/or palate. And after having a complicated pregnancy along with surgery being needed on her newborn, her and her husband decided it would be best if she became a SAHM. Then Rebekah, after having tried other carriers, noticed how content Katy seemed in a wrap. Falling in love with a wraps versatility and simplicity, Rebekah learned how to sew (with the help of her mom), and started making her own wraps to help supplement her and her husbands income. Rebekah and her mom spent hours discussing how they could possibly improve a wrap, and taking in what other moms thought about safety and complication, she came up with the safety seat that is now on all Bundleboo wraps. This simple yet innovative design change made the wrap so much easier and safer and also brought Bundleboo™ to the height of popularity it is at now. And in February of 2007, Rebekah invite her friend Lisa Behneke to "join the Bundleboo™ team". Together they are striving to make Bundleboo™ available to moms everywhere.

I am lucky enough to have received one of the Signature series Bundleboos. When I first got it, I was very much intimidated. I didn't realize that there would be so much fabric! (6 yards of it! And trust me, you use every last bit of it.) I thought that there is NO way I can figure this out easily, that they are crazy when they say it's simple to use. So, putting in the handy little DVD it comes with, I resolved myself to at least try it. I decided to try the front carrying position because Calvin has always liked to be facing out so he can see everything. Now, this is the honest truth, I watched the video for the front carrying position just once and had it down. I'm not joking. I watched it, then went and got Calvin and tried it and have been in love with it ever since. Not only is it suprisingly easy to use, but it feels so incredibly secure. There is no way that he is falling out of it. I even bent forward and he was parallel with the ground, (to test out how safe it is, while of course holding Calvin), and he didn't even budge. Now, some are a little more complicated (ie the Rucksack carry), but with a little practice I'm sure will become very easy to do. My two favorites right now are the Front Cross Wrap and the Front Cross Wrap - Joey Hold (as shown in the pictures)

On top of it all, I carried him around Wal Mart for over an hour, and, believe it or not ladies, I had no back or shoulder pain. You heard me right. The way the Bundleboo™ works, it distributes weight evenly, and with me, made it so I didn't even have the thought of any pain. I get to feel close to Calvin while knowing he is safe and secure and without any pain! It is so wonderful and I'm so glad to have one of my very own to use with Calvin and any future babies that I know I'll be having. Bundleboo™ wraps are definitely the wrap to have!

Plus, Rebekah and Lisa are providing my readers with a special coupon code! Just use the code "Ad_Special" for 15% off of your order! Expires 12/31/08
