id on me giveaway

id on me giveaway

Today's giveaway is for 4 ID On Me bracelets,
a sharpie, and choice between striped/grey accessory bands! {arv $69}
Open worldwide!

This sure is a colorful package!

Summer's arriving, and with this warm, school's out season, families often find themselves journeying to the beach, neighborhood pools, malls, local fairs, concerts, and amusement parks. Sure, family trips are fun but they can also leave many parents worried about kids wandering off or getting lost in a large crowd.

The ID On Me bracelet is an amazing way to address such safety concerns. Not only is it great for any one with a medical condition, but it's a wonderful identification source for children. The nicest aspect of the ID On Me bracelet, aside from being waterproof, is its small, lightweight size, which makes it a convenient must-have for any runners, swimmers, cyclists, and children playing at the park. In case an injury occurs or an emergency arises, having critical contact or medical information on you or your child will help out medical personnel and law enforcement.

Children (and adults) will certainly love the vibrant colors as well. (If you're wondering whether the wristbands are too tight and itchy, don't worry because they are definitely soft and comfortable!) Moreover, the bracelets are versatile. You don't have to wear them on your wrist --you can place them on sneakers, bookbags, jackets, and other easily noticeable items!

Some statistics provided by ID On Me, which emphasize the need for id:

* 1,315,600 children were missing from their caregivers during 1999 (OJJDP, 2002). That is over 3600 missing children every day, one every 24 seconds. Of these, 797,500 were reported missing to the police or other agencies, and 198,000 were lost or injured.

* Every day, more than 39,000 children are injured seriously enough to require medical treatment, more than 14 million children each year (National SAFE KIDS Campaign, 2002).

* During the year 2000, 387,000 bicyclists and pedestrians of all ages were injured in accidents, 129,000 of them traffic related (USDOT/FHWA, 2003).

"Emergency Info Inside" is embossed on the underside~
